1. Trajeto interno e externo:

Meridiano do Gan/Kan (Fígado) inicia-se na margem ungueal lateral do hálux. Dessa região, vai para o dorso do pé, segue anteriormente ao maléolo medial, indo pela face medial da perna, onde no ponto BP6 cruza com o meridiano do Baço/Pâncreas e do Rim. Toma sentido ascendente, cruzando novamente com o meridiano do Baço-Pâncreas, segue pela face póstero-medial do joelho e coxa, contorna os genitais externos, penetra na pelve pelo ponto VC3 e se conecta com o meridiano Ren Mai nos pontos VC2 eVC3. Nesse ponto penetra a cavidade pélvica, envolvendo a Bexiga e reaparece no VC4. Depois circula junto ao meridiano Estômago e penetra o abdome, unindo-se com o Fígado e se conectando com a Vesícula Biliar. Continua pelo músculo diafragma e pela região do hipocôndrio, indo para o pescoço, na região da faringe; penetra na nasofaringe, emerge no olho, seguindo para a cabeça, onde vai cruzar com o meridiano Du Mai no vértex, e termina na região temporomalar do outro lado. Um ramo secundário sai da região infrapalpebral e rodeia a boca. Um outro ramo proveniente do Fígado atravessa o diafragma e se une ao Pulmão através de Canais de Energia Secundários profundos.

2. Meridianos Secundários:

Meridiano Tendinomuscular: origina-se na extremidade do hálux, no ponto F-1.
Meridiano Luo Longitudinal e o Transversal: originam-se na perna, no ponto F-5.

Sintomas do meridiano: impotência funcional dos músculos situados em seu trajeto, vertigem, fraqueza no joelho, zumbido, abdome doloroso e distendido, dor e edema dos genitais externos, pele do testículo retraída, membros frios, cefaléia, vertigens, visão turva, febre, cãibras musculares, principalmente do hálux, disúria.

Sintomas de alterações energéticas: sensação de plenitude ou de dor nos lados e no tórax, edema duro no epigástrio ou no trajeto desse meridiano, dor abdominal, vômitos, icterícia, fezes duras, dor no abdome inferior, retenção urinária, dores nos genitais externos, urina escura.

É utilizado no tratamento: das afecções de cabeça, hipocôndrio, pelve, sistema urogenital, sistema digestivo Xue (Sangue).
