1. Trajeto externo:

Inicia-se na margem ungueal ulnar do 5º dedo da mão emergindo no processo estilóide da ulna. Segue pela face medial do antebraço , passando pela goteira ulnar no cotovelo, prossegue pela face posterior do braço , até o ombro. Vai para a escápula, atingindo a fossa supraclavicular.

2. Trajeto interno:

Penetra a cavidade torácica e vai para o Coração, até o esôfago, atravessa o diafragma e vai para o Estômago e termina no Intestino Delgado. Um ramo atravessa o abdome indo para o membro inferior até o ponto E39. Da fossa supraclavicular sai um ramo ascendente para o pescoço e mandíbula , seguindo para o ângulo lateral do olho, no ponto VB1. Então, retorna para a região zigomática e penetra a orelha, no ponto ID19 .

3. Meridianos Secundários:

Meridiano Tendinomuscular: origina-se na extremidade do 5º dedo da mão, no ponto ID1. Meridiano Luo ou de Conexão Longitudinal e o Transversal: originam-se no antebraço, no ponto ID7.

Sintomas do meridiano: impotência funcional dos músculos situados em seu trajeto. Entumescimento doloroso da mandíbula e do pescoço, torcicolo, amortecimento da boca e da língua.

Sintomas de alterações energéticas: dor e distensão no abdome inferior, às vezes com irradiação para a cintura ou para os genitais; diarréia, constipação intestinal, dor abdominal com fezes secas, hematúria, dor periumbilical.

É utilizado para tratamento: das afecções de cabeça, olhos, orelhas, garganta, pescoço, coluna vertebral, distúrbios mentais.
